San Diego Book Awards


The San Diego Book Awards was a fun evening filled with local authors. I got to wear a shiny dress, which doesn’t often happen. The Last Four Digits was a finalist in the Mystery category out of hundreds of entries covering two publication years, so this was a thrill and an honor.

I get a kick out of the pic below, from the angle it kinda looks like I’m hoisting a beer and have a man’s legs, but actually those bits belong to my husband, sitting next to me. His nose is there, too, if you look closer. The handsome young man next to him is my son.
